If you don’t already know, I have a slight obsession with knitwear. I don’t know why…I hate the cold, and would much prefer to live in a bathing suit year round than to have to bundle up at any time during the year…but still, I guess spending my youth in freezing cold Michigan winters has left a knitwear imprint on my heart. So, without further ado, let me introduce you to Madeleine Thompson: knitwear designer.
This 29 year old London based designer launched her cashmere collection in 2007. She quickly gained celebrity approval with cool girls of fashion Sienna Miller, Lily Donaldson, Agyness Deyn, and Kate Moss. She describes her own style as “relaxed, understated, elegant” and that’s exactly what comes across in her collection.
Yes, I’m well aware it’s summer, but there is nothing better than a cashmere sweater for those cool summer nights and you might as well get ahead of the game for Fall.
