What should I wear to a winter wedding
If you don't want to buy anything new, toss on a cocktail dress you may already own and wear tights underneath. If it is short sleeved, maybe wear some elbow length gloves, or spice it up with a colorful neck tie or a faux fur stole. Your "go to dress" can look different every time you wear it depending on how you accessorize it. Post some pictures of options and we will vote :)
If it's an evening wedding & the attire is rather dressy, you could go with a more evening gown dress (floor length) with a pashmina or some gloves. If it's a daytime wedding, you can go more calf or knee length with sleeves. You can probably pull any LBD or cocktail dress out of your closet, add some textured tights and a bolero and you are good to go. For color, I am still loving purple for winter, blue and black are always classic. I wouldn't go too white or too much white...I have seen a bride get very offended when she wasn't the only one in white!! I've attached some pictures to give you some ideas. You'll have to post yours after the wedding and show us what you chose!!!
Depends if the wedding is outside or indoor. If you will be outside, tweed is definitely a great warm option (think Chanel style tweed coats) with a nice pair of slacks or a pencil fit skirt. If it is indoor, you can always wear a printed or solid color dress (don't be afraid of color!). Just make sure to pair a small fitting jacket with it (think bolero style) or a pashmina wrap.
